Karma.....If ya have to ask for someone to give you Karma, that makes it meaningless.  If ya have to PM someone for Karma, that makes it meaningless.    I can see this turning into another mess... Some kind of bragging rights...Something on the order of the rating system.  If ya have to ask for it, ya don't have any.

Hey Zubaz or maybe Andrew should spill the beans and let us know what is going down?
I know karma will be used to purchasing stuff. So are we seeing a test of the Stardock purchasing system at work or lets say testing 123...?

Very interesting and like wow! That or maybe we are just raising the bar a bit?
But I think if anyone was gona get that much juice it would be Brad CEO. Zubaz has to be testing a new thing for passing karma on and such the like. Who knows maybe we can give someone what we already have to get them a sub or something they may need? Hum...

Whatever it could be pretty cool to just think what we could do for others with all that karma floating around.

I'm not really sure where that all came from... Karma is definately not going to be used to purchase anything. It's just for there.

If that be the case, anyone who needs them may have mine. It's just a number.
feel good because you've helped someone - that's what is important and that good feeling you get... that's karma.

Good enough for me.

Am I overreacting by not being happy about this article. A few days ago... I posted an article thinking that people around somewhat knew me. It was a kinda of "hey look at me I'm here and I've helping people, but no one has given me Karma." It somehow got turned into a moral debate over how "evil" it was and I'm being told to NEVER do it again and such. This hurts me, because I have been a member of this community for a long time, and I mean no disrespect because not all of you know how this got started, and are merely commenting, on the morality of asking for Karma. No I don't think you should be begging for Karma, but if you start a blog in good faith, and in good taste, with a group of people you believe to unbiased should you have be Crucified for it?

I mean no disrespect to anyone, please let me know what you think, understand I meant no harm to anyone, even those that in the end were rude to me, and even disrespected me.

Please let me know if my feelings are unwarranted, the original article was meant to be in good taste, and I'm sorry that it offended a few of you.

This is the intertubes. You will be crucified for anything you say by someone along the way. Go and cure cancer, someone will object.

Bastards! Curing cancer? What are they thinking. Putting all those radiation techs and the people who build the machines out of work. Sheesh.

not to mention all the people surviving longer drawing social security and using it all up before it' my turn.

then what's next after cancer's cured?

all other illnesses? then move on to slowing old age? we're getting crowded enough without people living completely healthy to a ripe old age of 150+

I'm amazed at the wild overreaction to this. I swear I'm half tempted just to comment out the code which enables Karma. Its supposed to be fun, settle down and just enjoy it!

I would still like to see a way to give Karma to the OP,and to be able to give more than 1 after a year of WC subscription. It's more fun to give them than stress about how many you have.
Its supposed to be fun, settle down and just enjoy it!

Please, everyone.I'd hate to see it killed off in it's infancy.Be yourself,be helpful,be kind to others, good Karma will come.Even if you can't count it,you will feel it.
