This is a little story on how your city counsel doesn't work for the people. We used to have trash pick up twice a week, Monday's and Thursdays. Then the city counsel let the trash company eliminate one day. So now we get trash pick up on Monday's only. They did keep the cost the same, we didn't get a reduction in cost. We used to beable to just bag up the trash and also put out bulk items. They did away with the bulk pick up and said we had 4 bulk pick up's a year. Anything over that would cost extra. Also they gave us a 64 gallon can to put the trash in. Last week they changed the rules on the bulk pick up to the first Monday of each month but now they raised the cost. So now we pay even more money for less service and the city counsel let them get away with this. Just an example of how the government, all the way down to the local level, works for the people.
