I remember in the old days(Good Old) you had skinners making minimalistic, thin border window blinds with a roll up button. Damn few skinners put the roll up button anymore and it seems thin borders are out. One reason most of my blinds are old.

If I were you, I'd chain it up in the lavatory so it can't escape.... AND lock all yer doors in case Dave Bax tries to reciprocate with 'romantic' gestures of his own. I mean, what would the neighbours all say with that kind of ruckus going on?
Also, Dave Bax is on 'the' list for casting asprsions about my ability to keep a secret. I mean, did I ever tell anyone you had a Phyllis Diller fantasy and you'd have liked to have exchanged 'personal' photographs [among other things] with her? No, no I didn't! Nor did I ever tell anyone you once had a bit of a man crush on Liberace because he had nice nails for a piano player. No, you told me those things in confidence and I'd never tell another living soul.
I just hope that you pay me the same courtesy and never tell anyone about my obsession with Dolly Parton's chest. It's a magnificent chest, isn't it! And it has all her wigs and costumes in it for her stage shows, but I told you in confidence and I hope it stays that way.

Martin and PJ always DX'ing… Some other names locked away somewhere trying to raid… Mmm, ^^Gabriel, brewman, ChaNinja, PixelPirate, b0se, m0rphium, -xino… I'm cheating. This is some list down memory lane. MadIce, Koasati, grayhaze, AJCrowley, RadialFX… I'm sure there is more. I.R.Brainiac… Can't forget Dangeruss. He's big on Deviantart with his car/bike renders and read he's done graphic covers working for Microsoft/Xbox at one point… I can't get over remembering back to DavidK and the Alienware theme of 2003.

And what about the classic forum threads, such as "My Throbber's Broken", by bichur, and the infamous 'pirate' thread, hijacked from someone who thought Stardock was preventing him from opening a blog account because of his political preferences.... when he was told that was NOT the case, he replied with: "And my bunghole tastes like chocolate," and somebody asked if others had confirmed this or could he lick it himself. Yup, that was/is the most hijacked thread of all time here at Stardock, and quite a bit of fun for all those who participated in making it so.
And then there was 20f3's "Blank of Borg" thread'... another thread that seemed to take on a life of its own. Again, though, I digress from my original train of thought, which these days seems to be a common occurrence. If only my body wandered as easily as my mind! I'd be out chasing loose women and trying to rescue them from a life without me.
So, back to my original train of thought... or was it a bus? Anyway, back then - back in the good old days - people were queuing up to post in popular threads, even some of the less popular one, but not nowadays.... no siree. What we have here is a failure to communicate, and instead of people queuiing up to post we have 1000's upon 1000's of lurkers, who are queuing up to contribute eff all
Yup, that's exactly what it is, 1000's of lurkers turning up in droves to read all our hard work and considered thoughts, just to hi-tail it out of here and piss off without as much as a 'by-your-leave' "kiss my arse' or 'thank you'. It's bloody rude, that's all I got to say.
Well it's not all I've got to say, but it's a start.
Another name from the past I miss seeing around the forums... Zoomba!!!! Now there was a 'management' identity with the sass of a rank n' file member, a real character who brought much to the forums. Then there's our beloved Zubaz, who too infrequently pops in and fumbles his way through a couple of lines of Zubish before popping back out again. And what about Po Smedley and Skinhit? Their ongoing 'shopping' feud was very enjoyable as a spectator.
Ah, the good old days! Now what we got?
* A Dave Bax, who thinks he's a comedian - when all he is is plain funny did I say peculiar.
* A Doc, who thinks he's Skinhit and Po Smedley all rolledc into one - when in fact he is but a part of that duo without an archnemesis to 'shop' him back.
* A RedneckDude, who thinks he too is a comedian AND a rednrck - when in fact, all he is is a redneck with a sheep-bothering fetish
* A Wizard1956, who knows no magic at all but can make food disappear. He can also say 'poof'... but not in exactly a wizardry/magical context
* A Jafo, who thinks he's a bit of a PC tech - when really he's just a walking dictionary with a few tech words he picked a few things up from.
There's a bunch of other people with a mish-mash of talents ranging from the ridiculous to the sublime, and frankly, the place wouldn't be the same without 'em, so please, no more departures, old timers or not.
